Registration is now open for the Santa Cruz Mountain Bike Festival, which is scheduled for April 13-14 in Aptos, Calif., according to a press release.
This year’s lineup includes a short track cross country race, pump track event, amateur jump contest, a jump jam, and more. For the full list, which also has events for children and women, see the festival’s website.
Registration prices increase after March 24, and online registration closes April 10, according to the festival’s website.
Santa Cruz teen snowboarder Marissa Hushaw‘s second annual Grind Out Hunger Rail Jam is scheduled for China Peak on Feb. 9, 2013.
This year’s event — a half-day competition with shwag for participants that benefits the nonprofit Grind Out Hunger — is set to begin at noon. Registration is from 9-11 a.m. and costs $15 the day of, or you can pre-register over here.
