The 12th annual Logjam surf contest is scheduled to take over the Pleasure Point break with classic boards and old-school skills on April 28-29, the Big Stick Surfing Association announced this week.
New this year, the Logjam will be held in conjunction with the World Service Reserve ceremony designating Santa Cruz as a World Surfing Reserve. As always, all boards will be leash-less and constructed pre-1970, and the event benefits Santa Cruz-area non-profits.
