Santa Cruz’s Stefano Profumo won Brazen Racing‘s Bay Breeze 10-kilometer race from the San Leandro Marina Park on Saturday, finishing the course in 34 minutes, 46 seconds.

His 5:36 per mile pace was enough to edge Berkeley’s Brian Collett, who was second in 35:19, and Oakland’s Tim Stahler, who was third in 36:50.

San Francisco’s Meghan Morris was the top female finisher, coming in 10th overall [40:56].

In the Bay Breeze Half Marathon, the top local finisher was Santa Cruz’s Carl Roth, who crossed the finish line for 11th place in 1:27:41.

Tim Long won [1:21:02] and San Francisco’s Adriane Puetz was the top female finisher [15th overall, 1:30:10].

In the Bay Breeze 5k, Elk Grove’s Greg Mandler [18:43] won and Oakland’s Amy Brennick was the top female finisher [ninth overall, 21:21].

The next Brazen Racing event includes the Hellyer Half Marathon, 10k and 5k. The races are scheduled for March 3 at Hellyer County Park.
